Valeria Valkanova
Classical virtuosity, artistic freedom and genuine emotion.
Valeria Valkanova combines the elegance of the classical piano with the courage to step beyond traditional musical boundaries.
Her performances move effortlessly from tender lyricism to captivating energy, where the precision of a classical musician meets the freedom of the contemporary stage.
In Simbioza her piano does more than sound — it tells, provokes and leads the musical dialogue.
“For me, music begins where the notes end and emotion takes the lead.”
She began studying the piano at the age of six. She graduated from the “Prof. Vesselin Stoyanov” National School of Music in Ruse and the “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” National Academy of Music in Sofia. She has won awards at national and international competitions, including “Emanuil Manolov”, “Young Musical Talents” and “Franz Schubert”, and has taken part in masterclasses with Evan Hirsch, Sally Pinkas, Paolo Pollice, Ludmil Angelov and others.
